PM Modi’s era is an era of honesty, which made all round development possible : Rupani

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said here today that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s era is an era of honesty, contributing to all round development of India including Gujarat.
He said the Prime Minister has given a new direction of good governance through ‘sabka saath, sabka vikas and sabka vishwas’ taking everybody along, winning everybody’s confidence to ensure everybody’s development introducing an era of development politics in the country.
Mr. Rupani was speaking at a function here today to e-dedicate and e-launch new development works worth Rs.232-crore by Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) for the people in presence of Vidhan Sabha Speaker Rajendrabhai Trivedi.
The Chief Minister said that Gujarat Government has e-dedicated and e-launched new projects totalling Rs.11,000-crore during the last six months, alongside unprecedented fight against novel coronavirus Covid-19.
Even as the stream of development flowed down the entire state during the present regime, he said that Vadodara alone was benefited by development works worth Rs.450-crore – as against small pence during the Congress rule.
Narmada Development and Urban Housing Minister Yogeshbhai Patel said that VMC has convened a meeting with Narmada Development and Irrigation Department next Tuesday to prepare a master plan for deepening and strengthening the restraining wall of the 100-year-old Pratappura Sarovar to ensure 12 months water supply from Ajwa Sarovar
He thanked the Chief Minister and Vidhan Sabha Speaker for extending funds and facilities for the development of Vadodara. Mr. Rupani has gifted development works worth Rs.452 to Vadodara in a month.
The Minister said that all municipal corporations and municipalities have been directed to repair the roads damaged in the rains before Diwali. He appreciated civic authorities entering lanes and by-lanes and levying fines from shopkeepers and hawkers littering roads and municipal commissioners reviewing the situation every fortnight.
Vadodara Mayor Jigisha Sheth gave details of the development works taken up today worth Rs.232-crore.
Documents were presented to the beneficiaries of Dharampura Plinth Quarters in presence of Member of Parliament Ranjanben Bhatt and MLAs.
Others present on the occasion included MLAs Jitubhai Sukhadia, Manishaben Vakil, Shaliesh Mehta and Seemaben Mohile, VMC officials and beneficiaries.
