Article 370 : SC issues notice to Center govt, Internet-landline service should be immediately starts in valley

Various petitions on Jammu and Kashmir were heard in the Supreme Court on Monday. In the first petition, the court issued a notice to the Modi government of the Center to restore internet service in the valley. In the second petition, hearing the children illegally under house arrest, the matter was referred to the constitutional bench. The third hearing took place on the petition of the editor of Kashmir Times.
The apex court has issued a notice to the Central Government, hearing a PIL. In the petition, the court was asked to issue directions to the Center so that high speed internet service in the valley and landline service in hospitals and medical establishment should be started with immediate effect.
The Supreme Court has referred the petition of child rights expert Anakshi Ganguly and Professor Shanta Sinha to the constitutional bench. The petition alleged that the children of Jammu and Kashmir were illegally detained in view of neutralizing most of the Abrogation of Article 370. The court will start hearing on the arguments Abrogation of Article 370 from tomorrow.
