In view of the decision on Ayodhya, the Indian Railways has also started gearing up. Railway Ministry i.e. RPF has also issued advisory. The 7-page document sent to all zone offices calls for special monitoring of platforms, stations and yards.
At the same time, it has been asked to identify places sensitive to violence and where anti-social elements can hide explosives. Security has been asked to increase security at 78 crowded stations, including stations in Mumbai, Delhi, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh.
Also, special monitoring has been given to the railway station and religious places present nearby. RPF has canceled the holidays of all its employees and has said to deploy additional forces in trains before the decision on Ayodhya.
