Delhi-NCR’s climate improved for the second consecutive day

The climate of Delhi-NCR saw improvement for the second consecutive day. Air quality reached a very poor level with a drop of 63 points in the last 24 hours. On the other hand, the air quality of Ghaziabad, Noida, Greater Noida, Faridabad, Gurugram and other cities of NCR has also improved rapidly.
The air quality index of all cities remained at a very poor level. The System of Air Quality and Weather Forecast Research (SAFAR) says that the speed of the winds on the boundary layer reached about 40 km per hour. Due to this, the sheet of smog in Delhi-NCR has become increasingly trimmed. In the last 24 hours, stubble burning cases were the highest recorded in this season at around 5000. At the same time, due to the northwest wind, the wind reached Delhi through these areas.
But due to the rapid movement of air, starchy smoke accounted for 12 percent of Delhi’s pollution. The CPCB forecasts that late night surface winds will slow. Winds moving at a speed of 10 km per hour may again bring the air quality index back to critical levels in the early hours of Wednesday. Due to sunshine, it may improve once again on Wednesday.
