Australia defeated Pakistan

Steve Smith smashed an unbeaten 80-run half-century knock to help Australia beat Pakistan by seven wickets in the second T20. Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first. The half-century innings of captain Babar Azam (50 off 38 balls) and Iftikhar Ahmed (62 off 34 balls) helped the Pakistan team score 150 runs at the loss of six wickets in the scheduled 20 overs. In reply, Australia hit the target with nine balls to spare. With this victory, the Kangaroo team has gone 1–0 in the three-match T20 series. Now the third and last match of the series will be played in Perth on 8 November. Remember that the first match played in Sydney was canceled due to rain.
Chasing the target of 151 runs, Australia got the first blow as David Warner (20). Australia reached the score on 48 runs that captain Aaron Finch (17) also kept going. But Steve Smith once again appeared in brilliant colors, returning after Bain. He made his team win by scoring a quick 80 runs off 51 balls with 11 fours and a six.
Earlier, Iftikhar Ahmed played the best innings of his career and scored an unbeaten 62 runs while playing at number six for Pakistan. Iftikhar also holds the world record against Australia. This is the highest T20 score at number six. Before Iftikhar, this record was in the name of Aaron Finch, who scored an unbeaten 53 in 2011, batting at number six in T20 cricket on Australian soil. At the same time in third place in this matter is India’s MS Dhoni, who scored an unbeaten 48 runs in 2012.
