Another BJP worker was shot dead in Hasnabad, North 24 Parganas district of Bengal. In Amlani Panchayat, 42-year-old BJP activist Sarraswati Das has been killed by fierce firing by gunmen. The BJP has pledged to kill the Trinamool Congress (TMC) goons. After the Lok Sabha elections, West Bengal is not taking the name of the political hindrance. So far, nearly 10 political activists have been killed.
West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi also convened a meeting of the four main political parties of the state. But there was no result in the meeting. The BJP vice-president, Jai Prakash Majumdar, said that the Governor had come with five suggestions but the ruling Trinamool Congress representative said that he was unable to support it before talking to the Chief Minister.
Earlier, a clash broke out between Trinamool and BJP workers in ??Kharkhali area. The clash started with a minor issue took the form of violence. Three and four BJP workers were killed in this incident, while three workers of TMC were reported dead.
