Chief Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani today categorically stated that under the ambitious project ‘Nal Se Jal’ (potable water through tap) of Prime Minister Mr. Narendrabhai Modi, Gujarat has taken the frontal position in the country by providing potable drinking water to 75 % people of the state by using water tap up to their doorsteps.
The Chief Minister had given call for ‘Dunki Mukt Gujarat’ (Hand Pump Free Gujarat) with an aim that nobody needs to drink water containing fluoride or saline in the state.
Mr. Rupani was speaking at a function organized for e-launching of developmental projects worth of Rs. 155-Crore for Jamnagar Municipal Corporation (JMC), in the presence of Gujarat Agriculture Minister Mr. R. C. Faldu from Gandhinagar. The developmental projects included EWS Housing (Economically Weaker Section Housing), new pipelines for drainage and water, and renovation of historical Bhujiya Kotha.
The Chief Minister said the humans have three basic needs – Food, Clothes, and House. Everyman carries a dream to have his own house and to fulfill it he makes saving during his entire life.
In this reference, the Chief Minister said that Gujarat Government has provided qualitative houses with all the basic amenities to the people of Gujarat.
He also spoke about the Prime Minister’s Nal Se Jal Scheme under which he has aimed to provide pure potable water to everyone for drinking.
Gifting developmental projects of Rs. 155-Cr to the JMC, Mr. Rupani called on to make Jamnagar a modern, elegant, and developing Municipal Corporation by initiating these developmental projects at once.
On the occasion through video conference, the Chief Minister had also dedicated to people the newly built ‘Seva Sadan’ of Dhrol Nagar. The event was also attended through video conference, by Minister of State Mr. Dharmendrasinh Jadeja, MLAs – Mr. Raghavjibhai Patel and Mr. Pravinbhai Muchhadiya, Member of Parliament Mrs. Poonamben Maadam, JMC Mayor Mr. Jethwa and other officials, from Jamnagar.
