There would be no discussion on new proposals with BJP : Raut

BJP will not give the post of Chief Minister to its ally ShivSena under any circumstances in Maharashtra. The party will only agree to give a maximum of 40% to the ShivSena and 40% to the cabinet. If the Shiv Sena remains adamant on the condition of making CM and 50-50 formula, then the formation of a new government in the state is bound to be delayed. The two parties are likely to hold talks on the formation of a new government today. However, it is not certain whether Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray will have BJP President Amit Shah or Executive President JP Nadda during this time.
On Wednesday, ShivSena leader Sanjay Raut has again said that we will discuss only the proposal which we accepted before the assembly elections. He said that no talks will be held with the BJP on the new proposals. No new proposal has been received or sent from BJP. BJP and ShivSena had entered into an agreement on the post of CM before the elections and only after that we went ahead as an alliance for the elections. Raut said that those who conspired to impose President’s rule in the state are insulting the mandate.
The formation of a new government between the two parties is expected to be held on Wednesday. According to party sources, Amit Shah or JP Nadda will lead the negotiations with Uddhav in this sequence. If the party gets a clear indication of Shiv Sena staying on its terms, then Nadda can talk to Uddhav instead of Shah.
