Voice samples of five accused, including former Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Swami Chinmayanand and a student who accused him of rape, will be taken. Chief Judicial Magistrate Om Veer Singh gave permission to the SIT on Saturday . According to the information, the accused of demanding extortion have denied their voice in the viral video. Therefore, the accused will be taken to the Law Laboratory in Lucknow to collect the sample. The samples will be matched to the voice of the viral video.
The SIT had sought permission from the court to collect voice samples of Swami Chinmayananda and the accused student seeking extortion and three of her jailed colleagues. CJM Omvir Singh has given permission to the SIT to take voice samples of all the accused in this case.
The government lawyer has told the court in the past that the victim has said in her complaint that whenever she refuses to undress. If she was, Chinmayananda used to tear her clothes. During the hearing on Chinmayananda’s petition, the SIT had also told the court that 4 people, including a former Union Minister, a security guard, have confirmed that the victim girl used to visit the ashram often.
According to SIT victim was also raped Cinmayanand repeatedly in a room of the Hermitage said in the complaint. Anuj Singh said, ‘There are many aspects which confirm the statement of the victim. The victim was a student, so calling her to the ashram again and again raises questions as it has nothing to do with her academic work.
