Apparently towing the same line as of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) that no Muslim should be allowed to come to India in any form and Muslims living in India illegally should be driven out o the country.
Jamiat Ulama e Hind general secretary Mehmood Madani is of the view that Muslims from the Islamic countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan should not be allowed to come to India however he was little accommodative that people belonging to other communities feeling unsafe in these countries should be given citizenship in India.
BJP president Amit Shah announced in West Bengal that Hindus, Muslims, Shikhs and Jains of these Islamic countries will be given Indian citizenship by making provisions under Citizenship Bill.
