HM Amit Shah at Mumbai, said- Had there been no ceasefire, PoK would have been part of India

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has also burnt the bugle of election campaign. Inaugurating the BJP election campaign in Maharashtra, Home Minister Amit Shah said that PoK would have been part of India if there was no ceasefire. Shah said that PoK is an integral part of India. Amit Shah, who arrived in Mumbai for the first time after the election announcement, surrounded the Congress party fiercely on Article 370. He targeted former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru to Rahul Gandhi. Amit Shah blamed the country’s first PM Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru for becoming Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK), saying that if he had not declared a ceasefire in 1947, PoK would have been part of India. The BJP leader claimed that once again the BJP government will form in Maharashtra and Devendra Fadnavis will become the Chief Minister. Amit Shah arrived in Mumbai to address the program on Article 370.
He congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for repealing Article 370 and 35A and said that the Bharatiya Janata Party and Bharatiya Jana Sangh had always been fighting to remove them as they were a hindrance in uniting India. During this time, he blamed Pandit Nehru for not merging the princely state of Kashmir with India in 1947. Shah said that the princely states of which the responsibility of merger was given to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel merged successfully, but the one princely state left to Pandit Nehru could not be included in India. He said that the Maharaj of Kashmir refused to merge, after which Pakistan attacked Kashmir as tribes on 20th October 1947.
After this, when Maharaj merged Kashmir with India, on 27th October, the Indian Army went there and gradually drove the Pakistani army. Shah alleged that one day Nehru suddenly declared a ceasefire. PoK would not exist if there was no ceasefire. He said that the issue of PoK stands out due to Nehru’s mistake. Union Home Minister said Article 370 as the reason for terrorism in the country. He claimed that because of this Kashmiri Pandits, Sufi-saints were expelled from Kashmir and terrorism reached its peak. So far, nearly 40,000 people have died due to 370, yet the Congress asks why 370 were removed. He claimed that not a single person has died in Kashmir since 5th August, 2019.
