With two goals from Rodrigo and Paco Alcácer helped Spain defeated Faroe Island by 4-0 to register their sixth consecutive win in the Euro 2020 football qualifier. This is Spain’s sixth win in six matches. This was the 167th match of captain Sergio Ramos, who equaled Iker Casillas record of playing 167 matches for Spain.
Spain are now seven points ahead of second-placed Sweden in Group F. Sweden were held to a draw from Norway by 1-1. A minute’s silence preceded the match in memory of former coach Luis Enrique’s daughter, Xana, who died last week of bone cancer at the age of nine.
