Defense Minister will visit Ladakh for the first time after the abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. He will be in Ladakh on 29th August and will review the situation there. According to defense officials, Rajnath Singh will meet the local people of Ladakh and hold talks with the Union Territory to help the people there. Apart from this, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh can talk to the defense and military officials of China and Pakistan borders. The 14 Army at Leh monitors the eastern borders with Pakistan and China along the Kargil-Drass-Siachen sector.
Earlier on Friday, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that his government has changed the history of 70 years by abrogation of Article 370 and 35A from Jammu and Kashmir. Rajnath reached his parliamentary constituency Lucknow on a three-day visit. During this, he said in a program, the people of the country had given us this opportunity by trusting us and winning 303 seats. That is why we changed the history of 70 years by removing Articles 370 and 35A from Jammu and Kashmir.
He had said, the process of removing Articles 370 and 35A had started from the previous government itself. The Prime Minister wished that this work should be done quickly, but it was not possible due to lack of majority in Rajya Sabha at that time. Now Jammu and Kashmir will not have any constitution from its side. a single constitution will run whole India.
