The new focus of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is south Indian state Telengana where the party finds maximum hope as far as electoral success of the party is concerned. Activities of the BJP has been intensified in the state with lots of people joining the party which has four-and-half-year’s time to do the magic in the state.
The BJP works with a different strategy in different region as the party has a different strategy for Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Telengana. The party has failed to do much so far in any southern state except Karnataka. The BJP is working on the social and caste structure of the state.
Now the BJP has managed to get a Uttar Pradesh connection in Telengana as well when former Jaunpur Lok Sabha member and Bahubali leader Dhananjay Singh’s wife Srikala Reddy has joined the BJP during the visit of executive president of the party in the state.
Dhananjay Singh himself wanted to join the BJP and contest Lok Sabha election as a BJP candidate but his image came as hurdle on his way of joining the BJP. His third wife a Reddy is now in the BJP whos family has a political clout in Telengana and she will start BJP politics in the state. The BJP leadership is using this as tool to expand its base and its streangth wherever the party does not have grassroot workers in every nook and crany of the state.
The BJP was facing a challenge to field candidates in many constituency who can forefeit their deposit but now confident that four year down the line there will be a changed BJP in Telengana. However Telengana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) executive president warned BJP working president JP Nadda that there is a deffrance between Karnataka and Telengana.
