Union Minister for Oil, Gas & Steel officially launches MNGL Nation’s 5 stations

Union Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas & Steel, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan today officially launched and attuned to the MNGL Nation’s 5 stations through a video conference, which will take the company’s CNG stations to one hundred. The Minister also inaugurated the start of civil works at the LNG/CNG station in Pathardi, Nashik, Maharashtra, CNG bus supply in Nashik, and CNG distribution through the award of the Mobile Refuelling Unit (MRU) in Pune.

Pradhan said that the CGD sector has turned into a significant natural gas consumption business sector. Demand will only boost as more GAs are becoming operational and expenditure rises in the domestic, transport, commercial and industrial sectors of CGD networks.

The Minister mentioned that the pressure on the CNG and LNG infrastructure would also attract investment to the OEM sector, manufacturing of CGD equipment whereas transport sector and will result in job creation and will become a major step towards AatmaNirbhar Bharat.

The Secretary, Ministry of PNG, Tarun Kapoor, said during the occasion that the Government is offering full basis for the creation of CNG/LNG stations and called mostly on Companies to help speed up their plants. He also called on them to guarantee that 2-3 CBG plants would soon be connected to the gas network.
