JDU has shown way out to party vice-presidents Prashant Kishor and Pavan K Varma, who have raised the rebellion in the party. Taking action on Prashant Kishor and Pavan K Varma, both have been dismissed from the party. With this, both have been relieved of all party responsibilities.
Nitish Kumar, the national president of JDU and CM of Bihar, had shown strictness regarding the recent steps of the party’s national general secretary Pavan K Varma and vice-president Prashant Kishor. While Pavan Varma had questioned the alliance with BJP in the Delhi elections, election strategist Prashant Kishor had come into the discussion by tweeting on the issues of CAA, NRC and NPR. Nitish Kumar had raised questions about Prashant Kishor’s tweet at a party meeting held in Patna on Tuesday.
Prashant Kishor also reacted sharply after Nitish Kumar’s attack. Nitish Kumar had said in his statement, ‘Amit Shah had asked me to include Prashant Kishor in JDU, then I included him in the party. Ask PK to stay or not? If you want to stay, then you have to stay on the party line, otherwise go where you want to go. We do not hold anyone.
On this, Prashant Kishor tweeted and said, ‘What happened to lie about how and why you joined me in JDU! You tried your best to paint me in your colors and if I can say the truth, who would believe that you have the courage to not listen to what has been recommended by Amit Shah?
