NCP chief Sharad Pawar on Friday, dismissing the possibility of a mid-term election in Maharashtra, said the Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress government will form in the state and it will complete a five-year term. Maharashtra currently has President’s rule. He said that the three parties want to form a stable government which will be development oriented. Pawar told reporters here that there is no possibility of a mid-term election. This government will be formed and will run for five years. We all want to assure that this government will complete its five-year term. Asked if the BJP was discussing with the NCP to form a government in the state, the former Union Minister said that his party was talking only with Shiv Sena, Congress and coalition partners, apart from none. . He said that the three teams are currently working on a Common Minimum Program (CMP), Which will guide the implementation of government schemes in the state. Representatives of the three parties met in Mumbai on Thursday and drafted the CMP. Pawar targeted former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis’s remark in which he said that the Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress government would not run for more than six months. Pawar quipped that he had known Devendra ji for some years, but I did not know that he is also astrology. Pawar also targeted Fadnavis’ ‘I will come again’ slogan. Pawar said, “It’s fine.
