Dr. Manmohan Singh said that we believe that Article 370 was a part-time measure, but if change is brought, it should be with the goodwill of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. Dr. Singh said that although the way this bill has been implemented, we are opposing it. Explain that in the election campaign of Maharashtra, PM Modi is raising the issue of article 370 loudly.
Targeting the Congress over the economy, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had said that the country’s public banks have seen their worst phase during the tenure of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and former RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan. While delivering a lecture at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs in New York on Tuesday, Sitharaman said it was his first duty to revive all public sector banks.
