Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina arrives in India on 4-day visit, dozen agreements will signs between 2 countries

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will visit India on a four-day visit on Thursday. About a dozen agreements will be signed between the two countries. Hasina and PM Modi are scheduled to hold bilateral talks on 5th October. This is Hasina’s first visit to India after parliamentary elections in India and Bangladesh. Hasina will be the chief guest of the India Economic Summit organized by the World Economic Forum on 3rd-4th October.
According to Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momin, a dozen bilateral agreements related to different areas are expected to be signed between the two countries. The issue of water sharing of shared rivers, including the Teesta, will be reviewed between the Prime Ministers of the two countries. With this the issue of Rohingya crisis will also be discussed.
Meanwhile, Pakistan PM Imran Khan suddenly interacted with Sheikh Hasina on the phone on Wednesday. Hasina’s press secretary Ihsan-ul-Karim told the media that during a conversation on Wednesday afternoon, Khan asked about Hasina’s eye operation. Karim said that Prime Minister Hasina thanked Khan for asking about his eyes.
