Supreme Court sent five judges to the constitution bench for hearing all petitions challenging the abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, restrictions and related matters. Gave. A bench of Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi referred the matter to a five-judge bench headed by Justice NV Ramana to hear all the petitions for the so-called ban in Kashmir, ban on movement of journalists and detention of children in the Valley.
The Constitution Bench also consists of Justice SK Kaul, Justice R Subhash Reddy, Justice BR Gavai and Justice Suryakant. During the hearing, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said that the reply will be filed by the Central Government on Monday in this matter. These petitions include petitions by Inakshi Ganguly, Mohammad Tarigami, Sitaram Yechury, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Anuradha Bhasin, among others, fighting for the rights of the child. This five-member Constitution Bench was constituted by the court on Saturday to hear petitions challenging the abrogation of Article 370.
