Implementation of new Motor Vehicle Act in Gujarat extended till Oct 15

CM Vijay Rupani led Gujarat government has given partial relief to the people of state on the implementation of the new Motor Vehicle Act. As per the government announcement, the duration of the implementation of the new Motor Vehicle Act has been increased by about one month. Earlier, the rule was implemented in the state from September 16. Now, the term has been extended till October 15 in the state. Transport Minister RC Faldu informed about this in a press conference at Gandhinagar.
Transport Minister R.C. Faldu said, “A cabinet meeting was held today under the leadership of the Chief Minister. After discussing how the helmet will be available in the shops in the short term, it is decided to allow the implementation of the new rules on the helmet till October 15. People leave the workforce and feel in the long lines for the PUC. By accepting the truth, it is exempted as well. For opening 900 Centers of PUC in the state The state government is making efforts. ”
Transport minister Faldu said, “As per the decision taken in the cabinet, from now on, all two-wheeler dealers in the state will have to sell the vehicle as well as provide a mandatory helmet without any charge. In this case, the circular will be declared. This helmet will be ISI quality.”
