A drone of the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) crashed during a test at a farm in Chitradurga district of Karnataka on Tuesday. No casualties were reported in the incident. A video of this has gone viral. The crashing of the drone led to a loud noise which caused a lot of fear in the village of Jodi Chikkanahalli. Soon, a large number of people reached the spot. Confirming the incident, Chitradurga Superintendent of Police Arun K told Media that the UAV crashed into a field this morning, but no one was injured. Videos of broken UAVs went viral on social media. According to state government officials, the accident occurred when an aerial vehicle named ‘Rustom-2’ was undergoing testing.
