Gujarat government has made a historic decision to start e-stamping service. The state government has taken this decision to curb the black market in the sale of stamp paper. For this, the state government has set up some centers from where stamps can be purchased.
As per the reports from sources to the information received during the sale of stamp paper, complaints of black market issues, artificial scarcity, malpractice and fraud were raised. The state government has decided to do e-stamping to address these complaints. The facility for e-stamping will be started in the office of the Stamp Vendor CA, CS Common Service Center Notary.
