A special PMLA court sent IMA case prime accused Mohammed Mansoor Khan in the custody of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for three days.
Amid tight police security, Khan was produced before the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) special court judge Shivashankar Amarannanavar.
ED had sought Khan’s custody for a week. The Karnataka Special Investigation Team (SIT) too sought Khan’s custody. Khan, against whom over 30,000 cheating cases have been registered, is also wanted by the Andhra and Telangana police as several Muslim community members in those states have invested their money in his ponzi scheme.
