Sohrabuddin encounter case: Bombay HC accepts petitions of Rubabauddin

In Sohrabuddin-Tulsi encounter case, a petition filed in the High Court against plea has been accepted against the decision to acquit all the accused of the Mumbai sessions court.
Rubabauddin has written in the petition that the Special Judge of the Session Court, which has given the observation and enactments in the order, is totally contradictory to the evidence. The court had not summoned 118 witnesses and their statements were not made. Rubabuddin has written about the change of judges in the case that at every turn of the case, the judge has been changing it. Where the first judge was transferred to Pune, the other judge was killed and the judge who ruled in the case of acquitting all the accused in this case, retired only 9 days after the verdict.
The judge had earlier dismissed the petitions of two witnesses Mohammed Azam Khan and Mahendra Singh Devi, before the decision to acquit all the accused in the case, in which he had requested to make the statement again in his trial court. Rubabuddin has also cited some old cases in the petition filed in the High Court and sought re-trial.
Rubabuddin has written while stating the case history that the first CID of the case was done by research, after which the CBI did the research. The merger of Tulsi and Sohrabuddin case was made by the CBI accused 38 people. In this 16 accused were discharged before the trial. The trial began in the Special Court of Mumbai from December 5, 2017 and till December 21, 2018, the court had executed 210 witnesses and ruled the acquittal of all the accused.
