More relaxation has been announced by Tamilnadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami on Wednesday announced that all shops and commercial establishments, including vegetable, grocery, restaurants and teashops, are allowed to operate till 10pm from Thursday ctober 22, 2020.
In a statement, the chief minister said the shops and establishments should adhere to the standard operating procedures. The decision has been taken considering the upcoming festive season and the need to retrieve the economy furthermore.
“The government has been actively involved in protecting the people from coronavirus and extending relief to them. That is the reason, the spread is under control and the recovery rate in the state being high in the country. Also, the fatality rate is less,” the CM said.
