The President of India has approved the appointment of three advocates as judges of Gujarat High Court.
With these appointments, the strength of the Gujarat HC will go up to 30 judges.
According to a notification issued by the Department of Justice Vaibhavi Devang Nanavati, Nirzar Kumar Sushil Kumar Desai and Nikhil Shreedharan Kariel were appointed as judges of Gujarat High Court, in that order of seniority.
The SC collegium had approved the names of the three advocates for appointment as HC judges in a meeting held on August 14.
