Senior IPS officer Parambir Singh has been appointed as the Commissioner of Mumbai police today. Mr. Singh is a 1988 batch IPS officer and succeeds Mr. Sanjay Barve on his superannuation today, an official press statement issued stated. Mr. Singh, currently is the Director General of state’s anti-corruption bureau. The anti-corruption bureau will now be headed by Mr. Bipin K. Singh, a 1990 batch IPS officer.
