The 38-year-old Dhoni was not expected to be dropped from this contract, but he has not played any international matches for the last six months. This officer made it clear that a top BCCI official had talked about the new contract. He had clearly said that because I have not played since last September. This official also said that if Dhoni joins the team on or before the ICC T20 World Cup to be held in Australia this year, he will be included in the Central Contract.
