Hindu girls kidnapped in Sindh, India summoned Pak officer

India has summoned a senior Pakistan High Commission official over the kidnapping of Hindu girls and lodged strong opposition to recent cases of kidnapping of girls belonging to minority Hindu communities in his country. Official sources gave this information. According to the information, two minor girls of the minority Hindu community – Shanti Meghwad and Sarmi Meghwad – were abducted from a village in Sindh province on 14 January.
According to sources, Pakistan has been apprised of the concerns expressed by various factions of Indian civil society institutions on such a shocking and condemnable incident regarding minor girls belonging to minority Hindu community in Pakistan. The incident has been strongly condemned and India has asked these girls to return to their families immediately and safely.
According to reports, these girls are from Omar village of Sindh. In another incident, Mehak, another minor girl from a minority Hindu community, was abducted from Jacobabad district in Sindh province of Pakistan on 15 January.
