Bollywood actress Rani Mukerji says that it is very important to make relevant films for today’s time. In her early career, Rani did films related to social issues such as ‘Raja Ki Aayegi Baaraat’ based on the rape incident and ‘Mehndi’ based on dowry.
Rani was asked if such films could be remade? To this, the Rani said, I think there are many stories that need to be told and brought to the silver screen. So remaking something is not the solution for this..I believe that it is important to make relevant films for today’s time.
