JDS support to BJP : ‘Focus on defeating rebel MLA’s : Siddaramaiah

The sense of manipulation of political parties has intensified ahead of the by-elections in Karnataka. While the challenge for the Bharatiya Janata Party to save the government is in front, there have been reports of cracks in the Congress-JD (S), which had earlier run the coalition government. In such a situation, former Chief Minister and Congress leader Siddaramaiah has clearly said that the party’s focus is that the MLAs whose membership has been canceled, they lose in the elections.
Siddaramaiah has said, ‘It doesn’t matter whether Kumaraswamy supports us or not. Our agenda is that no such MLA wins the election which has been disqualified. ‘ He says that the issue of discussion is not whether JD (S) supports BJP or not. Siddaramaiah has said, “They have to win 8 seats to touch the majority figure of 113. They have to win 105+8 so that they can save the government.
Tuesday , senior JDS leader Basavraj Horati said that after the December 5 by-election results, if B. S. Yediyurappa-led BJP If the government reduces the number of MLAs, then it is likely that their party will support the Yediyurappa government. Horati said that no MLA from three political parties – BJP, Congress and JDS – is ready to topple the government and no one wants mid-term elections.
