There are no permanent friends and foes in politics. This has proved to be true once again with SAD Lok Sabha MP Sukhbir Singh Badal taking his onetime detractor and former Lok Sabha MP from Amritsar Navjot Singh Sidhu and incumbent minister in Punjab government to Union home minister and BJP president Amit Shah for his home coming. Sidhu wants to come back to the BJP but the BJP is not very keen on it.
Sources said that around two-three days back, he had met with Shah along with Badal, the family with whom Sidhu was never at ease. Now, he is seeking his help for his home coming. Sidhu’s wife has already resigned from the Congress and Siddhu is in hibernation for long. But the BJP leadership is not very forthcoming on this development for his comment made against the party, leadership and what was worst was his hug to Pakistan army chief. So it is not yet green signal for him.
