Third T20 : South Africa defeated India by 9 wickets

South Africa defeated India by 9 wickets in the third T20 played at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru of Karnataka on Sunday. With this victory, he made the three T20 series equal by 1–1. The first match was canceled due to rain in Dharamshala. The second match played in Mohali was won by India. This is South Africa’s biggest win against India in terms of wickets. He last defeated India by 7 wickets in 2015. India won the toss and decided to bat first at stadium. Team India had scored 134 runs at 9 wickets in 20 overs.

South Africa scored 140 runs in 16.5 overs at the loss of 1 wicket. South African Captain Quinton de Kock scored an unbeaten 79 not out. He also scored 52 runs in last match. Beuran Hendricks was voted man of the match. Shikhar Dhawan scored the highest 36 runs for India. He hit 4 fours and 2 sixes in a 25-ball innings. Kagiso Rabada take 3 wickets for South Africa. Beuran Hendricks and Bjorn Fortuin had 2–2 success. Rishabh Pant failed to big score in the second match in a row. He scored 19 runs. In the last match, he scored 4 runs. Ravindra Jadeja contributed 19 runs. Hardik Pandya scored 14 runs. Shreyas Iyer returned to the pavilion after scoring 5 runs. Krunal Pandya was out for 4 runs.
Captain Virat Kohli scored 9 runs. During this period, he surpassed Rohit Sharma in scoring the most runs in T20. Kohli has 2450 runs. Rohit had scored 2443 runs. Rohit left Kohli behind in terms of scoring the most runs by scoring eight runs in the same innings. He returned to the pavilion after scoring 9 runs. Rohit equaled Mahendra Singh Dhoni in terms of playing 98 T20s for India. They are followed by Suresh Raina (78) in third place. Kohli played 72 matches, Yuvraj Singh 58 and Shikhar Dhawan 55 matches. Incidentally, Dhoni played his 98th T20 in Bengaluru on 27th February this year.
