The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) — the political mentor of the Bharatiya Janata Party — has intensified its activities in Delhi to prepare the BJP for Assembly elections in the city next year. In its first move, the RSS has taken over intellectual cell of the BJP to prepare strategy to dethrone the Aam Admi Party government in Delhi.
Sources said that the RSS will prepare a report by meeting different sections of people in the society to know their opinion and prepare a report that would be handed over to the RSS.
Sources further said that the BJP will use findings of the report as a tool in its election manifesto. Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal has already strengthened his position among a big section of people in Delhi by free water and electricity at the half rate. AAP has very strong in unauthorized colonies and JJ clusters.
The RSS has pulled all its strength in Delhi and has been working to turn core voters of the AAP towards the BJP.
