Board of directors of South Eastern Coalfields Ltd have passed a resolution recommending a salary cut up to 25 per cent of all officials from the level of DyGM and above considering the poor performance report by the audit committee.
It has been further recommended that this would be applicable from August 1, 2019 and would continue till the time performance of the company improves. The recommendation has been forwarded to CIL for decision along with the legal opinion to this effect. So all executives from DyGM and above should take a call on the deliberations at the board and should take immediate action to improve the performance of the company in their respective field.
