Bollywood actress Urmila Matondkar has left the Congress party. Urmila has resigned from the Congress party expressing unhappiness. Urmila said that instead of working on a big goal of my political and social sensitivity, some people in Mumbai Congress are using them for mutual fight.
Urmila, 45, joined the Congress in March this year. The Congress made him its candidate from North Mumbai in the Lok Sabha elections 2019. She lost the election to BJP’s Gopal Shetty. While joining the Congress, Urmila had said that she has not come into politics because of glamor but because of ideology.
He had said on the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, the then National President of Congress, that the country needs a leader who can take everyone along, a leader who does not discriminate. Rahul is the only leader who can take everyone along.
