The cabinet of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expansion on Wednesday. Yogi’s 23 ministers were sworn in at the swearing-in ceremony held at Raj Bhavan. Out of these 23 ministers, 18 new ministers have been inducted into the Yogi cabinet, while 5 ministers have been promoted. Governor Anandiben Patel administered the oath to all ministers. Yogi has also taken into account his performance in Lok Sabha elections along with ethnic and regional balance while deciding new faces in the cabinet. Among those who have got a place in the cabinet, there are many who have become MLAs for the first time.
There are more than seven ministers in Yogi’s cabinet who have been rewarded for better work. Of these, 5 independent charge ministers have been made cabinet ministers. Two Ministers of State have been promoted to become Minister of State for Independent Charge. After the latest expansion, the total number of members in the Yogi cabinet will now be 56 including the Chief Minister.
