Anhdra Pradesh CM Reddy in Dallas : I dream of an Andhra Pradesh where no farmer is forced to commit suicide

Stating that he has set many goals to make Anhdra Pradesh a model in the country, chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has urged the Telugu NRIs in United States to strengthen his hands in realising his dreams. The chief minister assured that a complete transparent and corruption-free administration in the state will pave red carpet for all those footing into the state with investments.
Reddy addressed a well-attended Telugu NRIs meeting at Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center, Dallas, USA on Sunday. The auditorium was reverberated with slogan shouting and non-stop applause during Jagan’s address. It is considered to be one of the biggest public meetings by an Indian leader in Dallas in the recent past.
The CM Reddy said that he is dreaming to build a state where no farmer should commit suicide for lack of support from the society, system and the government. He said that he wanted to see the children in the state educated in best schools with perfect infrastructure. “I have a dream where all the villages should be green and back to life with full activity in the agriculture farms. I have a dream that no farmer is forced to end his life due to debts and crop losses. I have a dream that all the rural schools are equipped with best infrastructure to produce the tomorrow’s champions in all the fields,” Jagan asserted. He said that he wished to see all the public hospitals provide global standard healthcare to the poor in the state. He said that no poor should be left to his fate in getting best medical care. Jagan said that no poor would be left orphaned without a shelter and no mother is left helpless in sending her child to school. Jagan said he is also dreaming to build a state where liquor should not be the cause of disturbance in the families.
The chief minister said that he had readied his roadmap to realise his wishful thoughts into reality after walking for over 3,600 kms before the polls. He said that his government has already cleared 19 historical bills in just two months after taking over the reins of the state. He said that they were making revolutionary arrangements where all the government services were taken to the door steps of the people irrespective of their caste, creed, religion and economical status.
Jagan explained that they have brought a legislation to give 50 per cent share in all the nominated posts to the BC, SC, ST and minorities. He said that AP is the first state to bring a legislation to give 75 percent jobs to the locals. He said that they have also set a record by bringing judicial preview commission to bring transparency in the system.
Reddy appealed the Telugu community in US to invest in the state to transform the entire system. “Don’t forget, the government in AP is yours. I can’t forget your support and services extended in winning the election. I now request you to join hands with the government in making it richer not only in terms of GDP but in human development,” Jagan urged.
MP Peddireddy Mithun Reddy, MLAs Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, Chevireddy Bhaskara Reddy, APNRTS president Medapati Venkat Reddy, official language commission chairman Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad were also present in the event.
