On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Army Chief General Bipin Rawat has again warned Pakistan. Rawat said that Jammu and Kashmir is a part of India. He said, the decision of the political leadership on the control of Pak-occupied Kashmir (PoK), Aksai Chin, is to take a decision. The army chief said that the decision of political leadership will be decided by how Aksai Chin is not in control of our country. For this it is a diplomatic path, or any other way the government has to decide.
Army Chief General Bipin Rawat paid homage to the martyrs at Kargil War Memorial in Drass on the occasion of 20 years of Kargil Vijay Diwas. Speaking about the Kashmiri youth going on the road to terror, Rawat said that guns and youth can not go together in Kashmir. He warned that whosoever takes a gun against the army in Kashmir, he will go to the grave and his gun will come to us. He appealed to the Kashmiri youth to go on a good track and to increase their steps towards employment.
Earlier, Army Chief General Bipin Rawat had cautioned Pakistan and said that he should not even look to India. He warned the neighboring country that if Pakistan ever again used to infiltrate into India, then be ready to withdraw the dead body. He said that considering the vigilance of Indian security forces, Pakistan will not repeat the mistakes like 1999.
