Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati has called attack on students and teachers in JNU late on Sunday a shameful incident. Condemning JNU incident, former UP CM Mayawati has demanded a judicial inquiry into the matter. Apart from this, Maya has also said that the Center should take it seriously.
Mayawati criticized the scandal in a tweet on Monday morning after the JNU incident on Sunday. Mayawati wrote in her tweet, “Violence with students and teachers in JNU is highly condemnable and shameful”. The central government should take this incident very seriously. Also, it will be better if there is a judicial inquiry into this incident.
BJP also condemned the incident
Before Mayawati, Bharatiya Janata Party also condemned the incident in JNU. In its tweet, the Bharatiya Janata Party wrote, ‘We strongly condemn the violence on the JNU campus. It is an attempt at audacity by the chaotic elements who use the students for their own interests and vent their unrest in order to get their political ground over. University should be the place for education and learning.
