Congress party leader Hardik Patel has approached the Gujarat high court for temporary relaxation in his bail condition by permitting him to enter Mehsana district between December 15 and 24.
Hardik Patel’s advocate submitted before the court that he is required to attend the Umiya Mata temple during a ritual and for this purpose, the court may relax his bail condition. Gujarat government informed the court that it needs to obtain the opinion of police as to whether Patel’s entry can jeopardize the law and order situation in Mehsana district. The HC asked the concerned officer to remain present in court.
