Uttar Pradesh Police has raided the Delhi residence of Abbas Ansari, son of Bahubali MLA Mukhtar Ansari of Lucknow/New Delhi BSP. Police have recovered several foreign weapons and live cartridges in the raid. Lucknow police have recovered six articles from the residence of Abbas Ansari, son of Bahubali MLA Mukhtar Ansari in Basantkunj, New Delhi. Not only this, a large quantity of cartridges have also been found from the accused. According to SSP Kalanidhi Naithani, this action has been taken in the case of forgery filed in Mahanagar Kotwali. The Crime Branch was given a probe. A total of 4431 cartridges of different bore have been found from Abbas’ house. The Metropolitan Police has also increased the sections in the FIR registered against the accused.
Abbas Ansari bought five articles on a single license. The accused had made a license, which was transferred to Delhi. After this, obtained a license from there and bought valuable materials from different countries. The STF was scrutinized when it got an idea. After this, a report was filed on 12th October in Mahanagar Kotwali on Abbas Ansari for illegally purchasing several weapons from an arms license.
The accused had sourced from Italy, Slovenia and Austria. These include a double barrel gun of 12 bore from Italy and seven spare barrels of individual bore from Slovenia and a single barrel gun of 12 bore. At the same time 300 bore rifle from Indian Arms Corp of Lucknow 12 bore double barrel gun from Rajdhani Traders of Delhi. 357 bore revolver from Shakti armory of Meerut. All these realities have been recovered by the police. In addition, three pistol barrels 380 and 40 bore magazines, one loader and a total of 4431 cartridges were recovered from Austria. The police is checking the records of the recovered cartridges.
