Pakistan made a big mistake by supporting US after 9/11 attacks : PM Khan

Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Pakistan made a big mistake by supporting America after 9/11 attacks. He said that the previous governments should not have promised that which they could not fulfill. Khan also said at the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) here that he at least expects the international community to urge India to remove curfew from Kashmir.
He said that by repealing the Abrogation of Article 370, India has ignored the UN Security Council resolution, the Shimla Agreement and its own constitution. He will ask the United Nations to play its role in Kashmir. Pakistan has been trying to raise the issue of Kashmir in international forums but India has made it clear that the repeal of the Abrogation of Article 370 is its ‘internal matter’.
After the attacks of Al-Qaeda in the US on 11th September 2001, Pakistan made a big mistake by supporting the US in the war against terrorism. Referring to the then military ruler General Pervez Musharraf’s decision to support the United States, he said that I think the previous governments should not have made the promise which they could not fulfill.
