Uttar Pradesh and Netherlands extended existing MoU till July 2024

Uttar Pradesh and Netherlands have extended an existing memorandum of understanding (MoU) till July 2024 to enable both the governments benefit from each other in the fields of agriculture and allied industries, food processing, energy and urban development.
Ambassador of Netherlands to India Marten van den Berg met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Lucknow and discussed collaboration on issues like Ganga cleaning, solid waste management, spatial planning, urban and regional planning, water management, agriculture dairy and energy.
The state government informed the Dutch delegation that a centre of excellence would set up at the agriculture university of Kanpur in collaboration with the government of Netherlands. It also sought Dutch support in promotion of floriculture in Noida region.
