Hooda likely to launch his own party in Haryana if his demands are not met with!

The Congress might witness another setback very soon after the resignation of its Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Sinh who not only resigned from the Congress but also the Rajya Sabha seat however this time round the shock is likely to come from Haryana where its two-time former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda is all set to launch a new regional outfit anytime around August 15.
Hooda and the central leadership of the Congress are at the loggerhead over the leadership in the state. Actually the choice of Rahul Gandhi making former Sirsa MP Ashok Tanwar as the state party president has not been able to break much ice among people of the state. So the former CM has been demanding the party leadership to replace him in the interest of the party. Tanwar is the son-in-law of the slain Congress leader Lalit Maken who was married to Geetanjali the daughter of former President Shankar Dayal Sharma. Lalit Maken was also the elder brother of former Union Minister Ajay Maken.
Hooda has been the lone crusader of the Congress in the state after he had ousted the regional forces from the power to form the Congress government. Kiran Choudhary and one more MLA is not with Hooda in his opposition of Tanwar. Actually in the 90-member Haryana Assembly, there are 17 Congress MLAs and 15 out of these 17 MLAs met Hooda in Delhi on July 28, 2019 to discuss the next course of action. Apparently Hooda is not only feeling neglected in the Congress but also humiliated by the party leadership.
Sources said the other thing that has forced the Jat leader to take such a big decision is that the Congress is losing out very fast and is doing nothing to stop that. The Congress failed to get any seat from Haryana in 2019 Lok Sabha elections and party spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala was humiliated in the by-election itself in the state just before the Lok Sabha elections.
Tanwar was appointed president of Haryana Congress but he did not even appoint district presidents which have been one of the major reasons for the defeat of the Congress in the state in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Though officially it has been denied that there is any such plan to launch any party but sources close to Hooda informed that the fraction of the Congress is getting ready to launch it around Independence Day.
