Britain’s Foreign Minister Jeremy Hunt has denied any possibility of Britain joining the US attack against Iran. Mr. Hunt said, “I can not imagine any such situation when we will be part of this (the American attack against Iran) because we have adopted a different approach on the international nuclear agreement and sanctions imposed by the US. Yukiya Amano, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), confirmed Iran’s crossing 300 kilogram of uranium enrichment. The tension between the two countries has reached the peak after the incident of the explosion of two oil tankers Altair and Kokuko Kargas near the Hormuz Strait few days ago in Oman Bay and Iran’s killing of American intelligence drone aircraft.
Iran has warned that if other countries included in the UK and nuclear agreement do not save them from American sanctions, they will increase their uranium enrichment. The British Foreign Minister said, “We want to save this agreement because we do not want Iran to have nuclear weapons, but if Iran breaks this agreement, we will also be out of it.” In 2015, Iran had signed an agreement with the US, China, Russia, Germany, France and Britain. Under the agreement, Iran agreed to restrain its nuclear program instead of removing its economic sanctions.
