On the other hand, under the tradition of the princely state, a two-day fair of Gangaur of Chandmal Dhadha will start from Monday in Dhadho’s Chowk. Bhadani Purohit Panchayat Trust will have a ritual to fill the ancient Gangaur’s hollow. At the same time, worship of Gangaur idols will be done at various places in the city and traditional Gangauri songs and dances will be organized. From the day of Dhulandi, the Bala Gangaur worship festival will also be completed. The girls who have been worshiping Gangaur for the last sixteen days will perform the rituals of reaching Gangaur on Monday and Tuesday.
The ride will come out of the royal lavage
According to the custom of the princely state, the ride of Gangaur of the former Bikaner royal family will leave from Junagadh on Monday and Tuesday. Gangaur ride with royal lavage will reach Chautin Kua. Here Gangaur will be offered water and bhog. Women will perform dance in front of Gangaur statue. According to Colonel Devnath Singh, the ride from Janana Deodhi to Gangaur will take a traditional route. Before this, the worship of Gangaur statue will be done in Janana Deodhi.
Fair will be held in Dhadha Chowk
The two-day fair of Chandmal Dhadha’s ancient Gangaur will start from Monday. The sequence of darshan of Gangaur statue will continue throughout the day at Chandmal Dhadha ki Haveli located at Dhadha Chowk. From 5 o’clock in the evening, the Gangaur statue will be seated in the chowk for darshan. Here girls and women will perform the traditional Ghoomar dance in front of the Gangaur statue. According to Dhadha family member Narendra Kumar Dhadha, the preparations for the two-day fair of Gangaur have been finalised. The Gangaur statue has been adorned with traditional clothes and ornaments. The fair will also be filled on Tuesday.
The sequence of worship-worship going on from Ashtami
The worship of the ancient Gangaur statue of Pushtikar Purohit Bhadani Panchayat Trust is going on from Sheetala Ashtami. A large number of devotees, men and women, are doing darshan and worship every day. According to Lalchand Bhadani, the sequence of singing and dancing of Gangauri songs is going on in front of the Gangaur statue every day. There will be a tradition of filling Gangaur’s khoda on Monday. On Tuesday, there will be a tradition of drinking water and running at Chautina well along with the ritual of filling the hollow.
