Bahraich gangster Abdul Mateen had acquired property through criminal activities in Saadatganj. Mateen had built houses in the name of nephew and wife. On the information of Bahraich Police, Lucknow Development Authority took demolition action by running bulldozers on both the houses of Matin on Sunday. A total of 16 cases are registered against Mateen in the Rupidha police station of Bahraich.
The campaign being run by Lucknow Development Authority (Lavipra) against illegal constructions in the city is going on. Enforcement Zone-7’s zonal officer/prescribed authority Kamal Jeet Singh said that action was taken against two illegal constructions in Saadatganj. The first action was sealed by Waseem Ahmed and Mohsin Ahmed for illegally constructing a building in an area of 75 sq.m. without leaving a setback in plot number 429/556, Gulab Nagar, Muazzamnagar, Campwell Road, Saadatganj.
He said that case number 145/2021 was organized in the prescribed court against illegal construction. In the suit, the order was passed by the prescribed court to demolish the construction being done illegally on non-submission of any permission / ownership certificate and approved map from the authority in relation to the construction. Both are nephews of Abdul Mateen, whose uncle had taken the property in his name
The second case is of Rukhsana, who is Mateen’s wife. Case number 144/2021 was organized by Rukhsana in the prescribed court against the construction of plot number 429/938, Gulab Nagar, Muazzamnagar, Campwell Road, Saadatganj without passing the map from the authority. In the suit, the illegally constructed construction was ordered to be demolished by the prescribed court when the parties did not produce any approved map/evidence regarding the construction.
Kamaljeet said that to ensure compliance with the demolition orders, in the presence of Additional Secretary Gyanendra Verma, Special Officers Amit Rathore and Arun Kumar Singh, in-charge of Enforcement Zone-7, Kamal Jeet Singh, Assistant Engineers Rajesh Tomar and Sanjay Action was taken by Jindal, Junior Engineer Sanjay Gupta, Bhanu Prakash Verma, Udayveer Singh, Anshu Garg, Mohan Yadav, Ravindra Srivastava, Brijendra Singh and Jitendra Kumar in collaboration with the area police and authority police force.
