In last 11 months CM has made direct dialogues with over 200,000 citizens from Jan Samvad Kendra

With an objective to collect the firsthand, correct and precise feedbacks directly from the beneficiaries of the public welfare schemes of the state government, a ‘Jan Samvad Kendra (CM-People’s Interaction Centre), based on CM-DASH Board, has been set up under the direct supervision of sensible Chief Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani at his official residence in Gandhinagar. This initiative has proven to be the best mechanism for collecting ‘People’s Feedback’.
In the last 11 months, this Jan Samvad Kendra has made a record over 200,000 direct interactions, with an average of more than 18,000 interactions per month, with the citizens – ranging from a resident of urban areas to a common man located into the remotest rural area – to receive their feedbacks on the benefits being offered under various public welfare schemes of the government.
During the pandemic era of Covid-19, using this Jan Samvad Kendra, the Chief Minister had made direct contacts with the Corona positive patients to avail the information about to the treatments and facilities being given to them at various government hospitals across the state.
In the last 11 months, the feedbacks were collected for the government’s public welfare schemes such as Chief Minister’s ‘Aatmanirbhar Package’, Maa Amrutam Yojna, Vidhwa Sahay, Krushi Rahat Pakcage, beneficial schemes for farmers under i-Khedut Portal, Public Distribution System, Mukhya Mantri Yuva Swavlamban Yojna, and other social welfare schemes.
Under these schemes benefits offered included OPD services at the hospitals, various services under the ‘Digital Gujarat’ such as income certificate, cast certificate, services related to Ration Card, non-agricultural under I-Ora, permission for industrial purpose, premium under industrial enumeration as well as non-agricultural permission, e-Dhara, City Survey Notes, map permissions under ODPS, e-town and GSRTC – bus services and others.
It should be mentioned here that in the earlier days of Jan Samvad Kendra, 15 Janmitras were able to interact with an average of 500 beneficiaries per day, now it has increased to 1500 per day.
The satisfaction rate of the beneficiaries has been as high as 90 per cent from the dialogue conducted from the Jan Samvad Kendra, a release issued by Jan Samvad Kendra – CM Dashboard, said.
